James "Jim" Eftink is an Associate Circuit Judge in Cass County, Missouri.  He is running unopposed for re-election in both the primary and general election in 2026.

Before becoming a judge in 2023, Judge Eftink practiced law for twelve years, serving clients throughout the courts of Missouri.  His practice focused on serving as a court appointed Guardian ad Litem, investigating allegations of abuse and neglect and representing hundreds of abused children in court proceedings.

Judge Eftink is a loving husband, father, and Christian.  He is a Cass County resident and an active member of the community, serving on the board of directors of the Hope Haven domestic violence shelter, the Cass County Youth Court, and formerly served as president of the Cass County Bar Association.  He is a member of the judicial Civic Education Committee.  Lastly, he is a Director at Large for the Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges Association.

Judge Eftink will continue defending the Constitution, holding criminals accountable, cooperating with law enforcement, and protecting the community and people of Cass County, Missouri.
